Strenuous hike with no access for vehicles (except in emergencies). Perth Hills National Park Centre is an easy pickup place. Mobile phone reception (Next G) is erratic but fairly complete. Carry plenty of water.
Distance - 39km(9km + 18km + 12km)
Going - Mt Dale to Beraking - easy; Beraking to Waalegh - Medium; Waalegh to Helena - strenuous; Helena to Mundaring - easy.
Start Point - Mt Dale Road
Overnight - Beraking and Helena
End Point - Perth Hills National Park Centre
Time - 3 hours to Beraking, 9 hours to Helena; 4 hours to Hills Forest.
