Kangaroo Trail (Walyunga NP) Syd’s Rapids Trail (Walyunga NP) Paten’s Brook Campsite Trail (Mundaring Weir) Red Cord (10-20km) These hikes are relatively easy going and suitable for all. Ghost House (Yanchep NP) Echidna Trail (Walyunga NP) Eagle View Trail (John Forrest NP) Blue Cord (20-30km + overnight) These hikes are all near ‘exit’ routes and are in mobile reception areas in case the Scouts have problems. Yanchep Blue 1 - Perry Rd to Wanneroo Rd (overnight at Ridges) Yanchep Blue 2 - Pipidinny Rd to Wanneroo Rd (overnight at Ridges) Yanchep Blue 3 - Pipidinny Rd to Wanneroo Rd (overnight at Shapcotts) Bibbulmun Track Blue 1 - Kalamunda to Mundaring Weir (overnight at Hewett’s) Bibbulmun Track Blue 2 - Kinsella Rd to Mt Dale (overnight at Brookton) Green Cord (30-40km + 2 overnight) These hikes are in more inaccessible areas ‘walk in walk out’ and are often out of mobile phone range. Yanchep Green 1 - Pipidinny Rd to Lake McNess (overnight at Shapcott’s, Ridge’s) Bibbulmun Track Green 1 - Sullivan Rock to North Bannister (ovenight at Mt Cooke, Nerang) Bibbulmun Track Green 2 - Brookton Hwy to Sullivan Rock(overnight at Canning, Monadnocks) Bibbulmun Track Green 3 - Mt Dale to Mundaring Weir Super Green Cord (40+km + 2/3 overnight) These hikes are ‘strenuous’ and only for experienced hikers.
