Green Cord - Sullivan Rock to North Bannister
Excellent hike. Best started at dusk from Sullivan Rock car park and hike to Mount Cooke shelter. Leave the shelter early and have breakfast on top of Mt Cooke. Watch for the track as you come off Mt Cooke over the boulder field, it’s easy to miss (a GPS comes in useful here). The second day is long but it’s all flat and easy going. Finish at North Bannister road house where you can get cups of tea or ice creams.
Distance - 35km(6km + 12km + 17km)
Going - Strenous over Mount Cooke (day 2)
Start Point - Sullivan Rock car park.
End Point - North Bannister road house.
Time - 2 hours, 6 hours, 6 hours.
