Short Hike - Syd’s Rapids
Nice hike suitable for all. Stop for a short break, or to have lunch at Syd’s Rapids. After the hike stop for the a BBQ at the BBQ’s provided by the river at Bungarah Pool.

Going - Easy
Start Point - Boongarup Pool car park in Walyunga NP (straight on to end of road after the pay booth).
End Point - Boongarup Pool car park in Walyunga NP.
Time - 1.5 hours

Follow the Syd’s Rapids Trail from the Boongarup Pool car park.

At Syd’s Rapids take the path west away from the river for 20m then turn along the track at a bearing of 225 degrees (shown as a grey dashed line on the map).

Follow the trail until it meets the Kingfisher Trail.

Follow the Kingfisher Trail on a bearing of 180 degrees for 100m until it meets the Kangaroo Trail.

Follow the Kangaroo Trail on a bearing of 90 degrees for 600m back to the Boongarup Pool car park.
